Workforce technology has become a standard solution for managing increasingly complex business processes. Successful business process management depends on effective workflow modeling and analysis. One of the important aspects of workflow analysis is the data-flow perspective because, given a syntactically correct process sequence, errors can still occur during workflow execution due to incorrect data-flow specifications. However,there have been only scant treatments of the data-flow perspective in the literature and no formal methodologies are available for systematically discovering data-flow errors in a workflowmodel. Workforce Management System As an indication of this research gap, existing commercial workflow management systems do not provide tools for data-flowanalysis at design time.
Existing System
The existing Work force management system that is being used in many organizations and is deployed Using Manual paper Works this is called TIME CARDS. Time Card entry used to kill time because of manual hand written process. Spread Sheet implementation was used to overcome this paper work.
Employees have to enter the data either into the paper or into the Spread Sheet every day. This is stored as excel format and will be reviewed by the higher authorities. Analyzing and Approval are done manually. Conventional time sheet method was manual.
ADVANTAGES:
- Project managers need to know roughly how long each task should take, and how much effort has been expended so far.
- Lacking historical effort data, estimates cannot be based on data; lacking current effort data, actual are little more than hunches.
- By tracking the time of project team members, project managers can control projects better because they can base their estimates on real data.
DISADVANTAGES:
- Approval of time sheet and Analyzing previous record manually is a Time consuming and tedious work.
- Filling out time cards may seem maddeningly trivial, but the data they collect can be critically important to project managers.
- Using SPREAD SHEET for time sheet is a great havoc

Proposed System
Despite budget restraints, modern, practical time management and productivity tools must be incorporated in work environments to gain knowledge and achieve improved resource performance. Software such as Work Force Management Software allows automatic data classification and analysis to be used for improved time management and productivity practices. Automated tools such as WFM can easily measure productivity gains to be included in the calculation of traditional cost-benefit analysis.
